Surface preparation:

Blast cleaning to Sa 2? according to ISO 8501-1.

The substrate must be dry and free from salts and other contaminants. Prior to blast cleaning, oil and grease should be removed by solvent cleaning according to SSPC-SP1. Remove weld spatter and smooth weld seams and sharp edges as applicable. Sharp edges, weld seams, corners and other areas that are likely to receive less dry film thickness than specified, should be stripe coated.

金属防腐方法

针对金属腐蚀的原因采取适当的方法防止金属腐蚀，常用的方法有：

结构改变法

例如制造各种耐腐蚀的合金，如在普通钢铁中加入铬、镍等制成不锈钢。

保护层法

在金属表面覆盖保护层，使金属制品与周围腐蚀介质隔离，从而防止腐蚀。如：

1、在钢铁制件表面涂上机油、凡士林、油漆或覆盖搪瓷、塑料等耐腐蚀的非金属材料。

2、用电镀、热镀、喷镀等方法，在钢铁表面镀上一层不易被腐蚀的金属，如锌、锡、铬、镍等。这些金属常因氧化而形成一层致密的氧化物薄膜，从而阻挡水和空气等对钢铁的腐蚀。

3、用化学方法使钢铁表面生成一层细密稳定的氧化膜。如在机器零件、枪炮等钢铁制件表面形成一层细密的黑色四氧化三铁薄膜等。

电化学保护法

利用原电池原理对金属进行保护，设法消除引起电化腐蚀的原电池反应。电化学保护法分为阳极保护和阴极保护两大类，应用较多的是阴极保护法。

304不锈钢能不能达到C5-M的防腐标准

防腐蚀能力怎么样，其实跟产品被使用的环境有直接关系，在一般环境下使用，还是在酸性环境下使用。衡量的参数不明确，就很难比较了。这就是中性盐雾实验被广泛接受的缘故。其实我们比较熟悉的标准，如ASTM A276, ASTM A240, JIS G4305, JIS G4303都没有对NSS的盐雾实验时间做出标注，可见，NSS不应该是被用于评价304不锈钢螺丝耐腐蚀能力的参数。

关键是材料，材料中的镍，铬含量是否符合要求，杂质元素是否控制得当。另外一个关键点是钝化。现在一般的不锈钢螺丝生产都是简单的进行“洗光”，不没有按照ASTM A380的要求进行钝化。

以前我们做过一些台湾的产品，钝化后甚至可以达到500小时。一般的，钝化以后NSS都可以达到240小时。如果仅仅是洗光， NSS 240小时也是不能够满足的。

我曾经想过是不是可以用锌镍合金的钝化液尝试钝化304不锈钢的产品，理论上，效果应该不错。但未能真正尝试。
